The State of Mexico Attorney General’s Office (#FiscaliaEdomex) seized a satellite monitoring company located in the municipality of #Naucalpan, #Edomex, after determining that it allegedly leaked real-time information to criminal groups to facilitate cargo theft.
The seizure was carried out as part of Operation “#Senda,” a coordinated deployment between state and federal authorities that took place from December 9 to 12, with the objective of curbing the violence and systematic dispossession affecting transporters in at least 46 municipalities in the State of Mexico.
According to the investigation, the company, whose function was supposed to be the protection of cargo trucks, allegedly operated as a criminal intelligence hub. From its facilities, employees reportedly provided strategic data such as the exact location of trucks, routes, waiting times, and movements, allowing criminals to intercept the trucks with greater precision and less risk.
The seizure of the property in Naucalpan is part of a high-impact operation that yielded the following preliminary results: 68 people arrested, 26 priority targets secured, as well as 137 properties raided, including warehouses, safe houses, businesses and the satellite tracking company.
