Ghost caught on camera in Mexico City Metro causing short circuit

The Mexico City Metro has once again ignited social media after a video emerged showing an alleged case of paranormal activity that left commuters shocked.

The clip, shared on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), shows workers from the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro cleaning what appears to be one of the terminals. Everything seemed normal until an industrial cleaning machine moves on its own and falls directly onto the train tracks.

In the terrifying video, which has generated hundreds of reactions, you can see how, after the impact, the device causes a short circuit that lights up the area with a sudden spark. The workers, visibly shocked, walk away from the scene, unable to explain what happened.

According to those who witnessed the incident, the machine was plugged into an electrical outlet, but no one was handling it at the time of the incident. This detail has sparked a wave of theories among internet users.

Power failure or paranormal phenomenon?

While some users claim it could be a mechanical failure or a bad electrical connection, others maintain it’s a paranormal event. Comments abound with testimonies from people who claim to have experienced strange experiences inside the CDMX Metro.

Stations such as Pino Suárez, Tacubaya, and Barranca del Muerto are known for reports of shadows, unexplained noises, and apparitions, reinforcing the idea that the Metro “has energy that never stops.”

So far, the STC Metro has not issued an official statement regarding the video, but it has already garnered thousands of views and comments. Many wonder if it was simply a coincidence or if, once again, the CDMX Metro has shown its most mysterious side.
