Eurojazz 2025 returns: when to enjoy the festival for FREE in Mexico City

If music is your thing, you can’t miss the Eurojazz 2025 festival, set in an open-air setting and featuring the best of the genre.

If there’s one thing we love about Mexico City, it’s that there’s never a shortage of free events with great music, and the Eurojazz 2025 Festival is one of those must-sees.

Every year, fans of the genre gather to enjoy European jazz outdoors, so we’ll tell you where this music festival will be held.

What is the Eurojazz Festival?

The Eurojazz Festival was founded in 1998 as part of a collaboration between the European Union in Mexico and the Cenart (National Center for the Arts), and has since become one of the city’s most beloved festivals.

What began as a series of modest concerts now draws thousands of people when the dates are announced, and the best part: admission is still free.

Beyond saxophone solos and improvisations, Eurojazz is a celebration of sounds, styles, and cultures.

Each edition features bands and soloists from countries such as France, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, and Poland, as well as Mexican talents joining the lineup.

When is Eurojazz 2025?

Attention, jazz fans! Eurojazz 2025 is a reality, and this year, it celebrates its 28th edition from November 9 to 23.

On Saturdays and Sundays, at two times: 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, attendees will enjoy the best live music in the green areas of Cenart.

The atmosphere is completely family-friendly, allowing you to enjoy the concert as the sunset falls over the Cenart gardens.

In addition, the festival often has parallel activities such as master classes, meet & greet sessions, and the Eurojazz Passport program, where you can win gifts by collecting stamps.

As if that weren’t enough, the event is often streamed online so everyone can enjoy the experience.

Activities and artists will be announced soon through the official Cenart website or on Chilango, where we’ll keep you up to date on Eurojazz 2025.

The National Center for the Arts is located at 79 Río Churubusco Street, corner of Calzada de Tlalpan, in the Country Club neighborhood of Coyoacán.

Getting there is super easy:

By Metro: The closest station is General Anaya (Line 2); it’s a 10-minute walk. You can also get off at Ermita (Line 12) and take a bus to Tlalpan.
Public Transportation: Several routes pass through Calzada de Tlalpan or Río Churubusco.
By Car: There is free parking inside Cenart, but arrive early because it fills up. Hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Remember to wear sunscreen, a hat, and water, because the concerts are outdoors, and don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy international jazz in one of Mexico City’s most iconic cultural centers.
