Boo? Woof! Futurama Cultural Center presents its “Dog Halloween”

According to the “Homeless Pet Index” by the Mars Pet organization, by the beginning of 2024, it was estimated that there are 18.8 million dogs living on the streets in Mexico. While 60 million have a guardian or owner, and 96,000 reside in a shelter.

For those who want to give a new life to a dog, they can do so at the Futurama Cultural Center’s “Dog Halloween.” An iconic space in the Gustavo A. Madero City Hall, it transformed from a movie theater into an artistic venue with all kinds of activities. For example, a multi-day festival dedicated to John Lennon.

In addition to responsible adoptions, this Halloween event will feature costume contests and catwalks. This means anyone with a canine friend can dress up as a ghost, vampire, skull, or any other iconic horror movie character.

In addition, the “Dog Halloween” will feature other activities to enjoy alongside the dogs. These include:

Health services.
Play area.
Parade.
Bazaar with themed stands.

The “Dog Halloween” is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM and end just after 8:00 PM. In total, there will be seven hours of furry fun for the whole family, as well as for friends and couples.

Returning to the beginning of this article, admission to the dog celebration on October 31st is free. There’s also no age limit, so children and adults alike can attend the Futurama Cultural Center.

There’s promised to be lots of barking, fun, scares, tenderness, and prizes throughout the “Dog Halloween” party.
