Culture never stops: the sixth edition of Museum Night 2025 arrives with art, music, and fun.

The Mexico City Secretariat of Culture invites citizens to experience a unique evening next Wednesday, May 28th, with various artistic, cultural, and educational activities at approximately 80 museums throughout the city.

● This time, the Colegio Nacional (National College) will join the event with guided tours and talks; also joining the Museum of Memory and Tolerance with its temporary exhibition on the life of Anne Frank.

Next Wednesday, May 28th, Mexico City will experience an evening full of culture, excitement, and discovery with the sixth edition of Museum Night 2025, an initiative of the Mexico City Secretariat of Culture. Approximately 80 museums will open their doors for extended hours to offer residents a unique experience with workshops, tours, concerts, screenings, history, and lots of fun.

The goal is clear: have a good time while learning in different ways, exploring the treasures that Mexico City holds in every corner.

One of the good news this month is that the National College is joining Museum Night and will open its doors with various activities for the public to enjoy the treasures it houses. The best part is that admission is free. First, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a guided tour for 25 people, which will end at 6:15 p.m.

A talk will then be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a capacity for 50 people, and the day will conclude with another guided tour for 25 people from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The Tlatelolco Archaeological Zone invites you to the lecture “Tepeyac Causeway: A Route of Commerce and Devotion” by Ricardo Tovar Espinosa. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at the Tecpan Museum, located at Reforma Norte 630, Nonoalco-Tlatelolco.

To continue with the good news, we announce that the Museum of Memory and Tolerance is joining this magical evening of art and culture with its temporary exhibition on the life of Anne Frank. There will be guided tours from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and free tours from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For music fans, there will be a concert featuring the best of Broadway at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $40 and capacity is 200 people.

With its recent integration, the National Museum of the Mexican Red Cross joins once again with guided tours for 25 people at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. However, you must register in advance at [email protected]. If you prefer, you can learn about its history and its hidden corners freely from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Don’t miss it!

Music is also a centerpiece this evening, so the former Senate of the Republic will bring together four musical talents at 8:00 PM to immerse attendees in melodies and art.

Meanwhile, the southern part of the city has a creative evening planned at the Tlalpan History Museum with workshops on “Photo Embroidery” and “The GlowRider’s and Xochicanela,” from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Admission is free, and no prior registration is required.

At the Mexico City Museum, you can experience a theatrical tour with Nelly López, followed by the concert “Changorámico” at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Free admission! If you want to move your body to the rhythm of salsa, the Diego Rivera Mural Museum is your best option this time, as the “Salseros con clase, salsa sin transparencia” collective will be giving a sample class at 6:00 p.m., and admission is free. Arrive early, though, as capacity is limited to 60 people.

Meanwhile, the Estanquillo Museum is transforming into a universe of contrasts, colors, and sounds to continue celebrating International Museum Day. The first activity will be “Bipolar Workshops” on the third floor of the museum, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a capacity of only 25 people.

The historic Ex-Convento de Culhuacán Community Center awaits you with a very special evening. Another adventure you should consider is the activities planned at the National Museum of History, Chapultepec Castle, so you can experience a magical experience filled with history, music, and legendary figures.

Begin your experience with a guided tour of the castle’s grounds (5:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., capacity for 40 people), followed by a fascinating historical talk in the auditorium (6:00 p.m., capacity for 100 people), and culminates with an immersive musical narration in the event courtyard (7:00 p.m., capacity for 250 people). The Museum of the Inquisition will also have two performances of “Vampires Made in Mexico (Gods, Legends, and Darkness)” at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with a price of $280 for general admission and $250 for teens ages 10 to 14. The Network of Arts and Crafts Factories (FAROS) also participates during Museum Night. The FARO Indios Verdes has prepared an evening of concerts at 7:15 p.m. with free admission and no prior registration required. It’s important to be on time because capacity is limited to 60 people. Meanwhile, at FARO Azcapotzalco, Nahuatl will be present for the audience to learn, enjoy, and play. The event is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and admission is free; the activity is for 30 people.

The Tezozomoc Museum will integrate science in a fun and engaging way with unique activities, specifically to learn about Newton’s laws through a screening at 5:30 p.m. (capacity 80 people) in the “Dr. Pablo Rudomín Zevnovoty” Auditorium; an Aerocar workshop at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (capacity 35 people) in the Educational Services Hall; and finally, free tours starting at 5:00 p.m. For more information, please email [email protected]
