In the Cencalli kitchens of the Los Pinos Cultural Complex in Mexico City, traditional Colima cooks have offered an extensive menu with more than 30 typical recipes from the state and 13 refreshing drinks distinctive to the state.
Thus, a press release explains, Colima cuisine has once again delighted thousands of families in the capital at the “Colima en Los Pinos 2025” Festival, drawing long lines of diners and a full house in the venue’s renowned smoke kitchens.
This unique event was organized by the Undersecretariat of Culture of the Government of the State of Colima, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico.
This festival, held for the fourth consecutive year in the country’s most important cultural center, is an extraordinary opportunity to disseminate the traditional knowledge that constitutes Colima’s identity.
