Cheese with flavor: this was the World Cheese Day party in Mexico City.

Pizza, sushi, croissants, and much more: in Mexico City, we already know that chilangos love enjoying good food and trying new flavors. That’s why, on March 27th, the San Ángel Market was the setting for a grand party where Lala® Cheese was the star.

The reason for the celebration was none other than World Cheese Day, an essential food in global gastronomy, and of course, in Mexican cuisine. Cheese in our country is not only synonymous with flavor and tradition, but also with nutrition. With its high protein, calcium, and vitamin content, it has become a key element in everyday life.

During the Cheese Day with Lala® party, the dynamic was simple: the more dishes made with Lala® cheeses you tried, the more chances you had to win prizes for your home. And many people left with their hands full of practical gifts and a smile on their faces after a day of nonstop cheese-eating.

Sushi, tacos, and pizzas… but with lots of cheese!

As we already told you, Quesos Lala® has a wide, practical and delicious selection for any occasion and that goes perfectly with any recipe. Among its delicacies are Manchego, Panela, and Oaxaca cheeses. And on March 27th, Lala® demonstrated its quality and versatility with a spectacular event, full of irresistible dishes to delight its guests.

Cheese, always present in the best meals
During the vibrant celebration dedicated to cheese, Rosalina Tornel, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Lala Mexico, shared a few words that perfectly captured the spirit of the evening. He enthusiastically mentioned:

“What better way to celebrate than with delicious food, good music, and lots of surprises? We believe celebrating cheese is a great idea, especially with Queso Lala®, because at the end of the day, it’s all about family togetherness. We feel truly honored to be part of these special moments: family mealtimes. Lala, the #1 dairy company, is present in every home.”

But that wasn’t all. Tornel also surprised everyone with a rather curious fact. Did you know that… If we added up all the cheese Lala sells annually, it would be equivalent to 38,000 tons. That’s the same weight as the Palacio de Bellas Artes!
