Video circulates on social media of a trailer that loses its brakes on the Mexico-Puebla highway and, due to various maneuvers, manages to avoid an accident despite going downhill. The event was recorded by a police patrol that joined the incident to clear the way and reduce the chances of an accident.
According to the report, it happened at kilometer 47 of the highway toward Mexico City when the police decided to escort the trailer, which had been evading several cars to prevent a collision. The trailer reached a speed of 160 kilometers per hour, so it had to veer off the road toward the emergency braking ramp.
Upon reaching the ramp, the trailer moved over sand and gravel to come to an abrupt stop, causing the unit to overturn without anyone being injured. It’s worth noting that the video was recorded seven years ago.
