Check out the new Breitling boutique. The actors Paulina Dávila and Luis Gerardo Méndez, accompanied by Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling, were present at the official opening.
The importance of Mexico for Breitling is clear with the recent inauguration of the Swiss brand’s new boutique on Avenida Masaryk. This new exhibition space brings together, in one place, each and every one of the firm’s universes that extend between air, sea and land. “I am very excited about the privileged location we have for this boutique in Mexico City.
This is one of the largest Breitling boutiques in the world,” says Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling, during his visit to make the official opening in which he was not alone, he was accompanied by two of his new ambassadors.
On the one hand, the actress originally from Medellín, Colombia, Paulina Dávila, and on the other, the Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Méndez, who arrived aboard a Shelby Cobra, in clear reference to the Top Time collection that pays tribute to classic cars, while Paulina did it in a 1965 Ford Mustang, accompanied by the Swiss manager.
“We are very happy about the opening of this first flagship boutique in Mexico City, the first also for Latin America, which will allow our customers to experience the informal, inclusive and sustainable luxury for which Breitling is known,” commented Georges Kern at the time. of the ribbon cutting, where in addition to the renowned actors, he was also accompanied by Mauricio Tabe, mayor of Miguel Hidalgo and Antoine Loron, General Director of Breitling Latam.
After the emotional ribbon cutting, a group of female mariachis sang the song: “México en la Piel,” to give the guests access and finally get to know the new boutique, which is already classified as one of the largest in the world.
The boutique, located on the corner of Lafontaine and Presidente Masaryk streets, in the Polanco neighborhood, combines, like other boutiques around the world, industrial design with a loft-type atmosphere. It should be noted that a differentiator is the presence of Mexican culture, since a mural by the Mexican artist Cocolvú has been placed on the outside, where he reinterprets the cool and casual spirit of the Swiss brand.
In addition, each space of the new boutique stands out for having its personal stamp, such as the aviation elements that show the Avenger collection, as well as a section dedicated to the surfer spirit where we find the Superocean piece.
It is worth mentioning that visitors can first-hand access pieces such as the Chronomat B01 42 Triumph, a fusion of titanium and 18K red gold adorned with an anthracite dial, or the Chronomat Giannis Antetokounmpo, a collaboration with the successful Milwaukee Bucks basketball player, eight-time All-Star. You can also see the new Superocean line with a rainbow dial, as well as the recently launched Chronomat Pronatura B01 44, a special edition limited to 50 pieces and available only in Mexico.
And as there is always time to enjoy, in this boutique it has been created in the first floor, a lounge and bar where brand enthusiasts can taste their favorite cocktail and have the opportunity to tell their stories while wearing the emblematic Breitling timepieces.
