For the first time, the Mexican capital will be a showcase for the most outstanding tourist offer of the States in the country

Mexico City is hosting for the first time one of the most colorful parties of the year. It is about the Tianguis Turístico, a walk of encounters and cultural contrasts that reaches its 47th edition; a festival that usually takes place in the province. This year, the capital of the country has arranged one of its main avenues and some monuments as a showcase for the tourist offer of all the States.

Mexico City has been chosen for the Tianguis Turístico 2023 due to the reach and visibility that it can give to summer spots that are not part of the usual circuit of destinations that the capitalists like to vacation. The offer is also aimed at the foreign tourist sector visiting Mexico.

47th Edition of the Tianguis Turístico 2023 in CDMX

The capital’s government will place screens and stands along a stretch of Paseo de la Reforma, one of the most important avenues in the city. From the Glorieta de la Diana to the Ángel de la Independencia, adventure hunters will be able to explore the walkways of this street, which will be full of colour, flavor and culture. As it has happened with similar events, such as the International Fair of Friendly Cultures, this tourist display will also be a pretext to bring the curious closer to new worlds, perhaps unnoticed.

According to Nathalie Desplas, head of the Mexico City Ministry of Tourism, promotional tents will also be placed at some monuments in the capital for the same purpose. Exhibitions and recreational activities will be carried out as part of the program for this edition. According to the this government body, there will also be exhibitions with music and dance inside the Chapultepec forest, on the sidewalks that connect the Calzada Juventud Heroica with the Monument to the Niños Heroes.
