The messages on social networks in favor of Marcelo Ebrard, Foreign Minister of Mexico, do not constitute anticipated campaign acts for the next presidential elections of 2024, determined the Complaints and Complaints Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE).

The precautionary measure was requested for activities carried out in October and November 2022, and in January 2023, but the counselors determined that the electoral process will begin next September.

Marcelo Ebrard along with Claudia Sheibaum are the two most prominent candidates in the race for the presidency of Mexico, the elections will be held in 2024 and the competition is fierce within the same political party.
