Air Canada applauds the Government of Canada’s announcement to waive pre-departure testing requirements for fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada on or after April 1, 2022.

The end of pre-departure testing will provide travelers with more security, allowing them to plan their next trip with more confidence and without the worry of incurring additional costs.

Internationally, the airline relaunches 33 routes to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including popular destinations such as Barcelona, ​​Copenhagen, Madrid, Milan, and Venice. The Maple Leaf Airline is also expanding its South Pacific network with the return of daily service to Sydney and the resumption of services to Brisbane and Auckland.
