The United States ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, went to the Basilica of Guadalupe, accompanied by his entire family, to give thanks for his 67th birthday.
Through his Twitter account, the diplomat described the experience as a true blessing, the opportunity to be able to stand in the Basilica with his family, and feel grateful to be able to celebrate another year of life.

Ken Salazar openly declares himself Guadalupano, and on the first day of his diplomatic mission in Mexico, on September 11, 2021, he went to the Basilica, the largest Marian precinct in Latin America, to say thank you and venerate Our Lady Of Guadalupe.
In addition, in his official residence in Paseo de las Palmas, the ambassador has a large painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe in his office.
