Mexico City Metro Line 1 had to be evacuated

Mexico City (July 5, 2021).- During the morning of Monday, July 5, the Metro Collective Transportation System (STC) reported delays on Line 1 due to the evacuation of a train.

The circulation of the Metro Line 1 trains, from the Observatorio to the Pantitlán station was affected.

According to reports from the Mexico City Metro (CDMX), the Line 1 train had to be removed for an inspection.

Besides, the evacuation of the train affected the more than 200 correspondence stations with Line 1.

Causing annoyance among Metro users, who reported delays in the progress of the trains of more than 10 minutes.

The CDMX Metro recommended users to take the corresponding precautions and reported that the service will be normalized as soon as possible.
