Although with restrictions due to Covid-19, after two years the expected store will arrive in the country
After announcing its arrival in Mexico in 2019, which was affected by Covid-19, this 2021 the country will finally have a physical IKEA store.
This was announced by the Swedish company through its Twitter account, where it confirmed that on April 8 its doors will open in Mexico City with more than 5,300 items, distributed in a three-story complex.
However, because the pandemic is not over yet, it will be necessary to make an appointment on their website from April 1, to be able to go to the store and thus follow the protocols, and avoid the spread of the virus.
Affiliated people will receive an invitation to schedule a visit earlier.
It is worth mentioning that according to the IKEA page, only the visit of its customers will only be for 30 minutes, so they advise taking your shopping list.
At the moment, the store will open with a capacity limited to 30%, receiving a total of 7,500 people.
IKEA Oceanía is located at Av. Del Peñón 355, Moctezuma 2nd Section, Venustiano Carranza, CP 15530 Mexico City.
