To get to the beautiful beaches of Veracruz, you first have to leave the city on the Mexico – Puebla highway to the first San Marcos booth, which costs 132 pesos.

Later you must continue your way to the San Martín Texmelucan booth that costs 41 pesos and continue to Amozoc whose toll booth has a cost of 70 pesos. 

In any of the toll booths, there are almost obligatory stops where you will find various restaurants and even cabins where you can have a snack or even have a hearty breakfast if you left home very early and without eating the first meal of the day. 

After the Amozoc toll booth you must go to the Esperanza booth which is located on the Acatzingo – Ciudad Mendoza highway; This toll costs 136 pesos; to which are added the 32 pesos from the Fortín booth on the Ciudad Mendoza – Córdoba highway. 

Finally, to get to the port, you must take the Córdoba-Veracruz highway and cross the Cuitláhuac and Paso del Toro toll booths, with a price of 111 and 105 pesos, respectively.

If what you want is to get to Xalapa, then the road is a bit different. 

You must drive along the Mexico – Puebla highway and go through the same booths to Amozoc, only instead of continuing towards Acatzingo you must go to the Ixtenco – Oriente junction and cross the Cuapiaxtla booth, which costs 75 pesos; then the Cantona del Libramiento Perote booth, which has a price of 119 pesos; and finally cross the Las Vigas toll booth from the junction to Xalapa, which costs 149 pesos. The total cost of the trip would be 586 pesos and 1,172 for the round trip.
